The Dean of
Students supports NJIT’s academic mission by assisting
students in their pursuit of academic, social, cultural and
professional development. The office works with students,
staff and faculty to enhance the student experience and the
quality of campus life.
The Dean of Students oversees the areas of Residence Life,
Student Activities and Campus Center, Greek Life, the Center
for First Year Students, the Center for Academic and
Professional Enrichment (CAPE), Health Services and The
Counseling Center. The Dean’s office also serves as NJIT’s
liaison to the food service and the campus bookstore, as
well as organizing the Parents Advisory Council (PAC). In
addition, the Dean’s office oversees the Professional
Conduct Committee and handles matters relating to student
conduct, academic integrity and matters of discrimination.
The Dean’s office maintains close relationships with the
bursar, registrar and the six colleges of NJIT in order to
address student concerns.
Overall, the Dean of Students and the Associate Dean of
Students are dedicated to helping students achieve their
personal and professional goals.
